Team Maine currently consists of 7-8 active pullers who travel primarily around New England to compete in this region’s best armwrestling events. A team sponsor would allow everyone to compete regardless of their current financial situation. We would actively promote your brand on tournament day via your supplied t-shirts, sweatshirts, continuous logo/banner website placement, and any other proper method you see fit.
Typical tournament entry fees per arm range from $20 to $25 per arm, with 4-5 Team Maine pullers competing both left and right arms. Gas fees range from $25 to $75 per trip on average, in which we carpool whenever possible. Of course not every teammate goes to every tourney, so the average total cost per trip is difficult to estimate. However, an example would be 4 pullers attending a CT tourney, pulling left and right arm, would amount to 8 entries x $20 = $160 plus $65 in gas rounds out to around $225 for that trip, not including meals or tolls. Occasionally we will get spend the night in a hotel if it is a very distant tournament.
Team Maine is very well known and very well respected around the Northeast, competing at the highest level and always taking home a ton of hardware from each tournament. Winning money is an extreme rarity, as 95% of the tourneys in this area give away trophies, plaques, medals, and jackets for prizes.
